For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), “fees for requesting examination”, “patent fees (for the first to tenth years)”, and “fees for international applications” will be reduced by half from projects for which a request for examination or international application will be filed after April this year.
In addition, the reduction and exemption procedures will be drastically simplified by eliminating the need for any certificates such as articles of incorporation or certificate of registered matters of corporations.
